Back from South East Asia

It's early morning in Riyadh. I woke up at 3:30 this morning due to jet lag, so I thought I'd blog. My plane got in from Bangkok yesterday afternoon. Michelle (Canadian friend from work) and I flew into Thailand beginning of this month. We waited in Bannkok for a couple of days till we secured out visa for Vietnam. We then spent 10 days in Vietnam. After Vietnam, we spent a week in Pukhet - a beach resort area south of Bangkok. We both participated in the marathon there. After the marathon, Michelle went back to Saudi and I spend a couple more days in Pukhet where I finished off by taking a four-day scuba diving course. Then for my last day in Thailand, I flew up to Bangkok and spend a day with Mari-lyn (a school friend of mine).

So here are just a couple of pictures. I'll include more later. These pictures are of our trek through the rice fields in northern Vietnam. The two little girls in the bottom picture followed up most of the 10km hike.
